The competition is celebrating its 27th anniversary in 2012. More than 150 riders will race nearly 1,000 km (625 mi) in the regions of Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches. The competition will start in Lac-Etchemin, a stage of 170 km (105 mi) through the Appalachians, followed by the Thetford stage, with more than 160 km (99 mi) in the region of asbestos. On Thursday, enjoy the prestigious Saint-Georges-Mont-Mégantic stage with arrival at the peak of Mount Mégantic, and Friday is devoted to the time trial stage. Next, on Saturday, the city of Québec stage will be held; an urban circuit through the city's most beautiful sites. The winner will be crowned in the streets of Saint-Georges on Sunday, after having cycled the six grandiose stages.
